I've been an ordained minister since 1991, emulating an approach that is Metaphysical/Interfaith approach.
"People often ask what religion I am. I tell them I am spiritual, not religious. I was ordained through Universal Brotherhood -- an organization recognizing individualized expression and pathways of ministerial work. after a long wait of searching for the right place. When I got ordained, tears streamed down my face! -- It was something I had wanted for such a long time! I grew up knowing and feeling many aspects of truth, intuiting many things. I often expressed deeply spiritual ideas, even in traditional churches. Gradually, I found myself in more Nondenominational or Interdenominational churches and fortunately, in the mid seventies, found Unity, and have followed many of their teachings, along with those of other metaphysical and new age beleifs. I am often a voice for the inclusiveness of all religions, all faiths and believe we cannot have world peace until all are included! You will often hear me rephrasing language and rewriting words to songs or any written material to make the language more all-inclusive.
